Since 1977 RHL have been international leaders in their field, partnering with companies to find talented people for technical roles at all levels.

Based on our continuing success placing global professionals into Australia, we opened our Sydney office in July 2018, establishing a local presence whilst maintaining direct contact with our UK based operations. RHL continues to be a market leader in technical recruitment in the UK.

RHL Australia are well positioned to tackle modern recruiting challenges: supporting internal recruitment functions as well as complete recruitment outsourcing. We source Australian based talent where we can, however one of our unique qualities is our close link to the UK and our proven track record in supplying candidates between the two countries and the wider APAC region.

Paul, founding Director of the Sydney office, is a British/Australian citizen with over thirty years’ experience in the field of global Technical Recruitment.

Paul:

Paul started his career with an apprenticeship in precision toolmaking followed by a stint in product design, before embarking on a three-decade long career in engineering recruitment.

Today, Paul is Managing Director of RHL Australia, based in Sydney, but catering to Australian and global clients and candidates. Paul has gained a reputation as a trusted industry specialist due to his engineering background and his expertise in delivering for both clients and candidates.

Paul nurtures career-long relationships with candidates who regularly turn into clients as they look to grow their own teams. His ongoing commitment and enthusiasm for supporting and mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders remains, regardless of the geographical scope of his work.

Ilse:

With a professional history in retail banking, special needs education and further education administration in the UK, Ilse joined RHL in May 2018, assisting with strategic preparations for the relocation to Australia and the subsequent establishment of RHL Australia in July 2018. In her role, she oversees all aspects of administration, HR, finance and business support.

Alan has recently celebrated 20 years’ service with RHL, focusing on the Energy sector. Throughout this time Alan has supported SME’s to global multinational organisations with permanent and contract recruitment solutions. He has built up extensive connections in the industry, placing specialist technical and commercial people all over the world from mid-level to senior management.

More recently he has been integral in driving the growth of downstream operations and renewables sectors. His reputation for delivering the right people, with integrity and professionalism is unparalleled in this industry.

Jerome:

Jerome focuses on the operations, maintenance and modification disciplines within varied manufacturing industries. He has been in recruitment for the past 16 years and joined RHL in 2002. His experience encompasses permanent and contract recruitment, selection advertising and Executive Search, both within the UK and Globally.

Kellie has been working at RHL over the past 10 years supporting all aspects of the business, and now has recently taken the opportunity to join the Energy Division at RHL Resourcing within the Oil & Gas sector for both Contract & Permanent Roles.

Christian:

Christian is now entering his 19th year in recruitment and has been a Construction & Property specialist throughout his entire career.

Since humble beginnings as a trainee consultant in 2002 to Regional Director level, Christian has been able to adapt his skills and experience, specialising in various construction disciplines, including Construction Management, M&E, Building Maintenance and Trades & Labour.

It is Christians belief that building rapport and relationships with both clients and candidates is key to the recruitment process, along with an honest and transparent ethos, which will allow both client and candidate to experience a pleasant and unique service.

Jackie:

Jackie is a Chartered Accountant, having trained and qualified with Deloittes in London. She has a wealth of industry sector and business experience. In her role as Portfolio Director, she works closely with HRGO plc’s specialist recruitment businesses, seeking new opportunities for investment and growth of the portfolio of brands. Jackie has a background in corporate finance and M&A in addition to large restructuring, investment projects affording opportunities for expansion and growth.
