Role and Responsibilities
As a Toolmaker specializing in precision mould tooling, you’ll be at the forefront of the manufacturing process, utilizing advanced CNC machines, EDM technology, and traditional bench fitting techniques to create flawless mould tools across the broad range of existing and next generation consumer products. • Utilize advanced CNC machines and EDM technology to manufacture precision mould tools with exceptional accuracy
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models to ensure the seamless integration of design specifications into the manufacturing process
• Perform meticulous bench fitting and finishing operations to fine-tune mould tools to exacting standards
• Conduct comprehensive quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to verify dimensional accuracy and surface finish
• Collaborate closely with design, engineering and production colleagues to troubleshoot issues, optimise manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with company standards

Your Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Toolmaker in a precision engineering or mould tooling environment
• Proficiency in operating CNC machines and EDM equipment, with a strong understanding of machining techniques and programming
• Solid grasp of bench fitting and finishing techniques, including hand tools and precision measurement instruments
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models with precision and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work openly and effectively in a team-oriented environment
