The Role
Work on the development of cutting-edge technology and equipment within an exciting, agile and growing sector. Be part of an autonomous, cross-functional team within a flat organisational structure. Skills and experience
With at least 4 years of experience in a design/engineering role in a product design environment, you'll have:
- Expertise in mechanical engineering, design engineering, mechatronics, and product design
- Proficiency in Solidworks and Ansys
- Analytical approach to product development and problem-solving
- Competency in conducting FEA, Thermal Analysis, Structural Analysis, Vibration Analysis.
- Sound understanding of product development and testing for high volume manufacture
- Knowledge in design for production processes including machining, sheet metal and injection moulding
- A high level of competency in 3D CAD modelling and creating 2D drawings and specifications
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Previous experience working in defence, medical, aerospace or consumer electronics - preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Australian Citizenship preferred
